NOVEMBER PACK MEETING

Our November Pack Meeting will be SATURDAY, November 15th. Time TBD.

This meeting will be our conservation project and held at Brinton Run Preserve (6 Oakland Road, Chadds Ford). We will be planting trees. 

In addition to planting trees, we will be collecting non-perishable food items for Scouting for Food. 

Spook-o-Ree is Fast Approaching

Please remember to hand in Health Forms for both Scouts and Adults at the 10/15 Pack Meeting, or bring them with you to camp, along with a copy of your insurance card.

Safeguarding Youth, formerly Youth Protection Training (YPT), must be renewed for any adults attending camp activities. Certification is valid for one year. Date of completion must be after 10/17/2024.

If you can no longer attend, please let us know, as some scouts are on a waitlist for the event. 

OCTOBER PACK MEETING

Our October Pack Meeting will be on Wednesday, October 15 from 6:45 PM - 8:00 PM at Pocopson Elementary.

This month's meeting will feature Spooky Cub Jeopardy, Halloween-Themed Challenges, and a Trail Mix Station.

We'll also be collecting Health Forms and Safeguarding Youth Certificates for Spook-o-Ree.

Signups are limited! Sign up today! Activities may include: Blacklight Pinewood Derby, BBs, archery, glow slingshots, a Haunted Pavilion, and several other themed activities.

It is tent camping so if you need any guidance on what gear you may need (tent, sleeping bags, etc), please don't hesitate to ask a Pack Leader. 

The Spook-O-Ree runs from Saturday morning until Sunday morning (October 18-19). This year at Camp Horseshoe

If you are attending the Spook-O-Ree please review the Program Guide linked above. If your scout would like to race a car in the Spook-O-Ree Pinewood Derby you must bring the car ready to paint/assemble, all cutting should be performed before the campout. Kits can be found on the internet and Hobby Lobby has ready to paint kits.  

Please review the Pack 231 Packing List as it also includes important information regarding fall/winter camping.
