Welcome!

Pack 231 is a thriving Cub Scout unit including families with elementary students in Chadds Ford, Hillendale, Pocopson and neighboring private schools. The Pack is chartered by the Longwood Rotary and run by parent volunteers. Cub Scouts is a family-focused program designed for boys and girls in K-5th.

We hold meetings and plan activities throughout the school year. We emphasize fun while promoting the purposes and values of Cub Scouting. Click here for more information about joining Pack 231.

Spring Overnight: Stroud Water Research Center

If we don’t hit minimum number of youth attendees we will have to cancel. Signup by Saturday Night.

Come join Pack 231 for an overnight adventure and/or a morning program at the Stroud Water Resarch Center!! Bring your Tent and camp on the edge of Stroud's experimental forest. Campers will have access to indoor bathroom facilities throughout the night. If you can't join us for the campout, you can still join us for the morning program.

Activities: camping, hiking, program led by Stroud Water Research Center Staff

Arrival: Check-in starts Friday 4/17 at 6:00PM

Depart: Saturday 4/18 at 12:00PM

Cost: $30 per person

2026 AOL Crossover Pack Meeting

Please help celebrate our AOLs as they are awarded the Arrow of Light and Crossover into Scouting at our April Pack Meeting

April 15, 2025, 6:15pm - 8:00pm

Meeting is at PARC, 1 Scouting Way Exton, PA 19341

Dinner will start at 6:30pm with the crossover program starting at 6:50pm

Summer Camp 2026 Sign-Up

Join us for overnight camping at Camp Ware in 2026! July 15-19, 2026*

Multiple program options available:

3-day (Fri 7/17 arrival),
4-day (Thu 7/16 arrival)
5-day (Wed 7/15 arrival).
All sessions conclude on Sunday 7/19 ~1PM.

Earlybird registration deadline is April 15th.

One Adult must accompany Scout(s) to camp. During the day there is availability if parents need to work, but one parent (per family) is required overnight. Please reach out to Kyle Hujber or any Pack Leader if you have questions.

STEP 2: After completing this signup you will receive an email with a unique invitation to join our Pack registration via Chester County Council website. Please allow a few days for us to initiate the process. You will pay fees directly to Chester County Council.

2026 Pinewood Derby Signup

The Pinewood Derby is one of the major events in our Pack calendar and is also our biggest fundraiser of the year. In addition to the Pinewood Derby Sponsorships we will have a concession table with pizza, snacks, drinks, and assorted baked goods to purchase. The Pack will handle the pizza, but we are asking for Pack families to donate the other items or volunteer your time.

Pinewood Derby Sponsorships

Our 2025 Pinewood Derby will take place on Saturday, March 21st. Pinewood Derby Sponsorships are one of our primary fundraisers and helps offset pack dues and allows us to support future Pack activities.

We encourage all scouts to contact local businesses and ask for their support. Forms and flyers will be provided at the January Pack Meeting.
