Pinewood Derby is almost here!

Volunteers needed for weigh-in and race day!  Click here!!!

Important Dates:

Weigh-in Day: Bring your car and make sure you review the rules attached below.  If you need to make any repairs or adjustments to the weight of your car you must bring the materials and tools.  Sometimes a little crazy glue and some coins could work in a pinch.  Apply any graphite before you get there.  You will not have access to your car after the weigh-in. 

Date: Wednesday, February 23^rd

Location: Pocopson Cafeteria

Times:

• Lions and Tigers - 6:00 pm
• Wolf and Bear - 6:30 pm
• Webelos and AOL - 7:00 pm

Race Day: Get ready to cheer for your car and your den!  Snacks and refreshments will be available for purchase as well as 50/50 raffle tickets. 

Date: Saturday, February 26^th

Location: Pocopson Cafeteria

Time: 10:30 am arrival / 11:00 am racing begins

Get Ready for the annual Pack 231 Pinewood Derby held on February 10th, 2024 at 10:50 AM. Wear your Class A Uniforms. 

Location: Good Will Fire Station #2. 552 E Union Street, West Chester PA 19382

Cars will be inspected and turned in on February 7th at Pocopson Elementary from 6:30-7:30 PM (no uniform required for weigh-in)

Congratulations to the 2024 Pack 231 Pinewood Derby Winners and all the Racers! 

Thank You to all the Volunteers that helped make yesterday's Pinewood Derby a success. Also, thank you to the sponsors listed below. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year and we appreciate your support.   

Pack 231's annual Pinewood Derby model car race will be held in the Pocopson Elementary School Gym on Friday, January 15th. Time to be confirmed.

Pinewood Derby registration will be held Tuesday, January 12 from 6-8 pm in the PES cafeteria. Your completed car will be weighed-in and adjustments made as needed to meet racing specs.

Congratulations to all of the scouts and thanks to all of the volunteers who made the 2022 pinewood derby a success!  I know our scouts had a blast.  Here are some of the photos from the event.  Remember you can send photos to photos@231cubs.com.
