Prepare for Camp Ware

Get Ready for Pack 231 trip to Camp Ware

Please review the items below in preparing for the upcoming campout.  Last day to register is 11/6 (Signup Genius)

  1. Medical Forms Part A/B  REQUIRED for all campers. No physician signature needed. Bring with you to Camp. 
  2. Youth Protection Training  REQUIRED for all adults. 
    1. You must complete this prior to your arrival.
    2. Chester County Council requires annual recertification. Completion date of 11/11/2022 or later. 
    3. Email certificate to ypt@231cubs.com
  3. Personal Gear List (Please remember your Class A uniform if you have it) 
  4. Camp Ware Campsite Map (driving directions 239 Jubilee Road, Peach Bottom, PA 17563)
  5. Check-in
    1. Friday Check-in is 6-7 PM
    2. Saturday Check-in is 9-10 AM
  6. Any questions or dietary restrictions, please email info@231cubs.com
  7. We encourage you join Pack 231 GroupMe group prior to the campout so we can communicate more easily. Click on link to download app and join the group.

The Scout Store and Chester County Office is now open in Exton, PA. 

Store is open for all your Scouting uniform needs, and the Grand Opening is set for September 10th.

Race Day UPDATE

Racers! The track is built and ready for race day!

CORRECTION:  Schedules are attached - this year will be different. We will race in reverse rank order:  AOL, Webelos, Bear, Wolf, Tiger
 
Doors open SATURDAY at 10:30, first race at 11:00AM
 
The weather is trying to create a challenge for us tomorrow. Please dress as if you will be outside the entire time - including rain gear. If you have an EZ-UP style canopy and want to bring for your family unit you may want to consider. Umbrellas also welcome. Let's plan for the worst and hope the rain tapers off by 11AM per the forecast. Be Prepared!

REGISTRATION CLOSED - Spookoree Camping Nov 6th-8th

** Registration is CLOSED for the Spookoree - Chester County Council is adhering to PA state guidelines and has capped the registration to stay below 250 people. Sorry for those that were looking to register as of the last meeting - we would not have promoted if we knew it was already closed. The Pack is working on a Plan B overnight for families still looking for an overnight camping option **
