Pack 231 Fall Campout is BACK!  

Come join Pack 231 for a fun weekend adventure at CampWare! Cabin camping and tent camping options are available - no experience needed! All campers will have access to bathrooms with indoor plumbing, and the cabin has an indoor kitchen for group meals. Come experience all the great things Camp Ware has to offer for our Cub Scouts!

Activities: camping, hiking, outdoor skills, disc golf, campfire, BB and Archery Ranges may be open

Arrival: Check-in starts Friday 11/10 at 6:00PM or Saturday 11/11 at 9:00AM

Depart: Sunday 11/12 at 10:00AM 

Cost: $50 covers 1 Scout & 1 Adult- $10 each additional (siblings welcome)

Join Pack 231 for an overnight sleepover at the Delaware Museum of Nature and Science Friday 2/28 - Saturday 3/1.   

Eat dinner before you arrive. Snacks provided on Friday night, and light breakfast provided Saturday morning. We'll sleep overnight in the museum. 

Activities: Program provided by museum staff

Arrival: Check-in Friday 6:30PM with program starting at approximately 7:00PM.  

Depart: Saturday by 12:00PM

Our February Pack meeting is our annual Blue and Gold Banquet, to be held at Penn Oaks Country Club on Sunday February 28th from 6-8pm.

The Blue and Gold celebration contains 2 components. First, it is a celebration of Scouting's birthday. This year is the 100th Birthday of Scouting, so this will be an extra-special birthday party event! Second, it is the annual celebration of our second year Webelos receiving their Arrow of Light award (the highest award in Cub Scouts), and their crossover ceremony to boy scouts. It is also the advancement ceremony for our first year Webelos, who will receive their Webelos badge.

Attention Scouts!

This is a big week as we kick off our new year of scouting.  Please take note of a few important things to remember this week.

1.  The first pack meeting is this Wednesday, 9/21 at 6:45 pm in the Pocopson Elementary Cafeteria. 

2.  Your students can wear their Class B uniform (Pack 231 t-shirts) to school on Tuesday to generate interest in scouting.  This week's meeting is open to classmates and friends who want to learn more about scouting.  Invite your friends!

3.  At this week's meeting, we'll discuss registration for scouts as well as the details of our upcoming camping trip.  Parents should stick around for this meeting to get a lot of great information about what's on the agenda for 2022/2023.
